Kimberly Keyes knew before she was old enough to drive, writing was her passion. Specifically, writing romance.
As a teen, she developed a love of Romance devouring her mother's Harlequin Romance collection. When that well dried up, she read any and all love stories she could get her hands on, knowing one day she would join the ranks of professional writers, and become a romance author herself.

Writing stayed on the back burner while she pursued college, marriage, and a career in travel.

But the call to seriously chase her dream of writing professionally, would not let her be. And one day, unbeknownst to anyone but a few select friends, Kimberly sat down to write the Great American Novel.

Four and two-half novels (and several revisions!) later, she's still working at it, and loving every minute.  It's a gift to find the one thing you're meant to do-and she never takes it for granted.

Kimberly's first love is writing Historical Romance, set in Victorian era England, but she has grown to love the Contemporary Romance genre equally, and is even dabbling in a bit of non-fiction.

When she's not working at her day job, she spends the bulk of her time writing and rewriting, (yes writing is rewriting? :')). She's lucky to have the unswerving support of her family, and most especially her two faithful companions, Pappillon, a twenty pound rescue puppy from Puerto Rico, and Roxanne, a miniature long-haired dachshund she inherited from her mother.  The two are constantly by her side offering love and encouragement.   After all, if mommy quits her day job to write full time, she'll be available for chewy-duty twenty-four seven!
